Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair medium-duty trucks, Sprinter vans, RVs, buses, and specialty vehicles per OEM and company guidelines.
• Use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, gauges, precision instruments) and power tools (pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks, hoists) to perform accurate repairs.
• Conduct inspections, utilize diagnostic tools (handheld computers, analyzers, chassis charts, pressure gauges), and test-drive vehicles to verify performance.
• Tag parts correctly, follow warranty processes, and complete accurate work orders with proper time punches.
• Maintain efficiency standards, follow supervisor/work order instructions, and adhere to attendance policies.
• Keep work area and customer vehicles clean, organized, and protected during service.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Proven experience repairing medium-duty trucks, RVs, Sprinter vans, or buses.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and servicing vehicle systems using manual and electronic tools.
  • Experience with pneumatic and welding equipment, hoists, and related shop tools.
  • Strong attention to detail with consistent adherence to OEM and warranty standards.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to follow structured work order processes.
  • Clean, organized work habits and professional handling of customer vehicles.
  • Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

• Preferred:
  • Background with Freightliner medium-duty, Freightliner Custom Chassis, Sprinter, or specialty vehicles.
  • Knowledge of Cummins, Detroit, or Mercedes diesel engines, plus Eaton or Meritor transmissions.
  • ASE certifications or OEM-specific training (Freightliner, Thomas Built, Cummins, Detroit, etc.).
  • Experience in dealership or specialty service center environments.
