Job Description

We are looking for career-oriented individuals in Cleveland to become an integral part of our Dealership’s team as a Shop Forklift Technician.

This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts and other material-handling equipment in our well-equipped shop environment. Equipment may include lift trucks, aerial equipment, pallet jacks, counterbalance forklifts, and small industrial machinery.

Experience working on electric, propane, and diesel-powered equipment is preferred. Candidates with strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and AC drive systems will be given preference.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing forklifts and/or aerial equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills with hydraulic and electrical systems preferred
• Experience using diagnostic software to troubleshoot equipment faults
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills and professionalism
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented shop environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $35.00/hour to start, based on experience
