Job Description

A well-established company is seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic to join its team in Seattle, WA. A Field Service AND a Shop Role are currently available. Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with growth potential, ongoing training, and excellent benefits.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of recent experience working on forklifts/heavy equipment and hydraulics systems. 
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems. 
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in field service is required for the Field Service role. Shop opportunities are available for qualified candidates. 

Compensation: 

• $25.00 - $53.00/hour to start, based on previous experience/training/certifications
• Overtime available

Schedule:

• Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

We are looking for those who are experienced in forklift repair and service as well as, have experience dealing with customers. Qualified candidates will be required to own personal tools, pass background screening, drug testing and DOT Medical.
