Job Description

A well-established company is seeking a Forklift Technician to join their team in North York, ON. Technicians will be responsible for: inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on forklifts. Experienced but no certifications are required.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working on counterbalance forklifts or heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and understand schematics is preferred
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in engines, diagnostics, and electrical systems will be strongly preferred.
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Personal set of tools
• Valid D/L
• Preference for those with a CDL

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $40.00/hour to start, dependent on experience

Shifts:

• Day or afternoon shift.
  • Day shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm or
  • Afternoon Shift: : Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM, and Friday, 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• OT after 44 hours

Mechanics will be required to have their own tools, as well as be required to submit to pre-employment checks prior to successful employment.
