Job Description

A well-established company is seeking Generator Technicians to join their field service team near Kearny, NE! 

Technicians will be responsible for performing PMs, inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance to mechanical and electrical systems on generators. 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience working on diesel, propane, and/or natural gas generators is required.
• Experience with automatic transfer switches (ATS) will be given preference.
• Ability to read and understand schematics is preferred.
• Advanced diesel engine diagnostics, and rebuild/overhaul experience is preferred.
• Mechanics with a strong background with electrical and fuel systems will be given preference.
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required.
• Owns a set of tools.

Offering:

• $35.00 - $44.00/hour to start. Starting wage is dependent on previous experience, training, and/or certifications.

Shifts:

• Day Shift, 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday.
• On-call rotational schedule one weekend a month.
• Average OT/week = 10-20+ hours depending on operational needs.

Mechanics must have their own hand tools, as well as be required to submit to background, drug/physical, and MVI history check prior to successful employment.
