Job Description

A well-established company with multiple locations throughout the United States is seeking Generator Technicians to join their Field Service team in Kansas City, MO. Technicians will be responsible for PMs, inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on engine and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working on Generators or a combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand schematics is preferred
• Knowledge of Data Center Switch Gear and Transfer Switches
• Mechanics with a strong background with electrical systems will be given preference. PLC and AC/DC Power Systems
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines and diagnostics will be strongly preferred.
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Personal set of tools

Compensation:

• $35.00 - $55.00/hour to start, dependent on experience and certifications

Shifts:

• Day Shifts, 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday
• Must be able to accommodate frequent travel

Mechanics will be required to undergo training provided by the company. Must have their own tools, as well as be required to submit to background, drug/physical, and DOT history check, and essential functions/lift test prior to successful employment.
