Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on fleet trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment, including excavators, skid steers, dozers, and backhoes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, including semi-annual inspections, ensuring all equipment is safe and road-ready.
• Tag and report any faulty tools or equipment following company red tag procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop; ensure all tools are in good working order and securely stored.
• Complete monthly inspections of the shop fire extinguisher and record findings.
• Immediately identify and report hazardous conditions to management.

Requirements:

• Required:

  • Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician certification.
  • Valid Class G driver’s license or higher.
  • Demonstrated experience with gasoline and diesel engines in trucks and heavy equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and hazard recognition.
