Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom drilling, tapping, and automation machinery for specialized production applications
- Fit, align, and adjust mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components to precise specifications
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service industrial machines and components in the shop and potentially at customer facilities
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete accurate assembly and repair work
- Work directly with the owner on build sequencing, technical problem-solving, and hands-on skill development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment
Requirements
- Required:

- Mechanical repair or assembly experience in a machine shop, automotive dealership repair center, or similar industrial environment
- Strong hands-on skills using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical control systems
- Ability to troubleshoot, fit, align, and adjust machinery and components to tight tolerances
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently or alongside a small team
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing accurate, high-quality work

Shifts
- Full-time, Monday–Thursday schedule
- 30–40 hours per week to start
- Opportunity to move to a Monday–Friday schedule
Compensation
- $28.00–$32.00/hour starting pay based on experience and training
- Opportunity for additional hours and increased responsibility
