Job Description

A reputable and well-established employer is urgently seeking a Lead HD Mechanic near Lawrence, MA!

The ideal Lead HD Mechanic will have at least 5+ years of previous technical repair experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic, 1+ years of experience in a Lead/Supervisory role, be a strong leader, and be well-versed with advanced electrical and hydraulic diagnostics!

Responsibilities:

• Repair, overhaul, or modify vehicles and equipment that are complex and involve complicated and varied systems
• Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy equipment of various types
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner
• Oversee & manage PM's on equipment as needed on a scheduled basis
• Lead a small team in the shop
• Manage repairs & work orders
• Communicate timeframes, expectations, and issues to Maintenance Supervisor and the leadership team
• A CDL would be a major asset

Compensation:

• $35 - 45/hr Starting salary is based upon previous experience, certifications, and training. (Negotiable)
• This position comes with a company vehicle and gas card

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30PM, Monday - Friday.
• Limited On Call
• OT Available
