Job Description

Brand new Heavy Equipment Mechanic job in Hackensack with profitable and established outfit. Extensive travel out of state for extended periods of time is expected. This variable travelling schedule requires unrestricted flexibility. This short notice travel aspect is above and beyond the regular Monday to Friday shop hours in Hackensack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tend to all systems on heavy equipment including preventative and reactive procedures.
• Inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair 
• Included are hydraulic, electrical, diesel and mechanical systems
• Tear down and rebuilding components
• Perform all requirements in a shop and field setting
• Engage with customers providing customer service excellence
• Operate company provided service truck professionally representing company brand respectfully
• Provide proficient communications to all colleagues and superiors alike.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years experience Heavy Equipment experience
• Tier 4 diesel engine diagnostic and repair experience
• Valid passport for required travel
• Successful candidate will submit to background, driver history and health screens

Compensation:

• $38.00 - $48.00/hour
