Job Description

An industry-leading Diesel Repair facility is seeking an ambitious Journeyman Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. Successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks. This family-owned and operated business has a vibrant culture, ample room for personal growth and career advancement.  We have a number of employees who have been here for decades, with one individual who has been with us for 50 years.  Immense stability, no layoffs in the past 23 years, over 30 months worth of work orders lined-up, and have been in operating for over 100 years.   

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience as a Diesel Technician, capable of any diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and replacement 
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, positive work attitude, eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
• Rebuild a variety of components, strong background with electrical and hydraulic systems 
• Expertise in diesel engines, diagnostic software, aftertreatment and emissions systems 
• Vast experience in Welding and Fabrication
• Personal set of tools
• Valid drivers license

Compensation:

• $40.00 - $50.00/hour to start, dependent on previous experience.

Shifts:

• Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM
• OT available after 40 hours
