Job Description
We are actively searching for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join a specialized vocational truck repair shop near Milwaukee, WI. This is a hands-on role in a laid-back, collaborative environment where you'll have autonomy, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to diverse repair workfrom engine rebuilds to hydraulics and specialty equipment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, diesel engines, and/or heavy trucks.
- Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines, diagnostics, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be required.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Experience with diagnostic software (CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, JPRO, Tech Tool, etc.).
- A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required.
- Experience with vocational trucks or specialty equipment is an asset.
- ASE or OEM certifications
- Background in hydraulics, electrical, or engine work
Compensation & Benefits
Wages:
- $35$45/hour (based on experience level)
- Quarterly efficiency bonus: $1$5/hour based on performance (82%95% efficiency targets)

Hours
- Schedule: MondayThursday 7am5pm; Friday 7am3:30pm
- Overtime: Approximately 4 hours per week (paid after 40 hours)
- Environment: Single-shift, shop-based work only (no field service)
- Shop Setup: 3-bay facility with lifts and diagnostic tooling; well-organized and clean
