Job Description

We are actively looking for a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join an established and reputable employer, and run a take-home service truck to various customer sites in the Kelowna area!

This is an excellent role for any experienced mechanic looking to continue developing their skillset with this great opportunity!

Job Requirements:

• A valid Red Seal - Heavy Duty Mechanic License is required.
• 4+ recent years of experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing forklifts and/or other aerial/material handling equipment.
• Experience maintaining hydraulic & electrical systems including troubleshooting, component replacement, and advanced/complex repairs.
• Hands-on diesel, propane engine, and/or electric drive motor repair experience.
• Experience utilized OEM diagnostic software to perform advanced diagnostics, calibrations, and set parameters.
• As you will be dealing directly with customers, good communication skills and professionalism is required. 
• Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
• Clean and valid driver's license is required.

Compensation:

• Up to $50.00/hour to start. Starting wage is dependent upon previous industry experience, licenses, and certifications.
• Take-home service truck, dispatch from home!

Shifts:

• Day Shift, (7:30am - 4:00pm), Monday – Friday.
