Job Description

North America’s leading infrastructure-maintenance organization is urgently looking for Journeyman 310T Heavy-Duty Mechanics to join their skilled team in Concord, ON.  

As a Heavy Duty Technician, your primary responsibilities will be to diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, determine root cause of failure and report findings.  Types of equipment include Industrial Equipment, Refuse Equipment, Street Sweepers, Vacuum Equipment, Snow Maintenance Equipment, etc.

 
Skills & Qualifications:

• Red Seal Journeyman Certificate – 310T Truck & Coach or 421A Heavy Equipment Mechanic Certification is mandatory
• At least 5 years heavy equipment and/or truck mechanic repair experience in inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems, etc.
• Strong hydraulic and diagnostic skills required
• Previous experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines
• Able to read schematics
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 

Compensation:

• $38.00 - $45.00/hour to start, depending on experience

Shifts:

• Day Shift, 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday.
• OT available and offered based on operational needs.

Successful Heavy-Duty Technicians must be able to provide a driver’s abstract with a clean driver’s record prior to employment.
