Job Description

A reputable company in Orange County, NY is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair various types of large construction  equipment such as Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, Lift Equipment ETC.  

The Ideal Heavy Equipment Mechanic Will Have:

• 3+ years of experience with heavy equipment and machinery.
• Technical training is preferred but not mandatory 
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel systems, Electrical, Aftertreatment issues, and troubleshooting Hydraulic as well as Engine and Drive systems
• Ensure equipment readiness and meet safety standards 
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Make professional recommendations on equipment repair  
• Applicants with AC and Welding Certifications will be given preference

Compensation:

• $36.00 - $51.00/hour, based on previous experience/certifications/training

Shift Schedule:

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift are available depending on your experience.
