Job Description

A leading industry company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. Technicians will be responsible for inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience working on Heavy Equipment
• Preference for those with experience in the field
• Mechanics with CAT & JD experience will be given preference 
• Ability to read and understand schematics is required
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines, diagnostics, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be required
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Welding is an asset
• Personal set of tools

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $40.00/hour to start, dependent on experience

Shifts:

• Day Shifts, 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday 
• OT after 40
