Job Description

A well-established and reputable employer is looking to hire a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their Service Team near Mineola, TX. This opportunity will have technicians working on a wide variety of Construction and Earthmoving Equipment. 

Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to; maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, and diesel systems on equipment. Mechanics will review and assist with repairs on brands from CAT, John Deere, Hitachi, Volvo, CASE etc. and perform maintenance-related work as required while maintaining a clean, safe work area. The successful individual will have a professional attitude and be able to effectively communicate with customers. 

Requirements:

• At least 5+ recent years of repair experience with Heavy Equipment.
• Experience working with construction equipment is required. 
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in team environments. 
• Own tools, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift; 7:00am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday). Some Saturdays required as business needs. 
• Overtime after 40 hours/week. 

Compensation:

• Up to $50.00/hour to Start, based on previous experience/training/certifications.

This role requires an experienced technician with a passion for the trade who is open to working on various types of heavy-duty equipment. This is not an entry level role.
