Job Description

A well-established company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Field Service to join their team Near Harrisburg, PA. Technicians will be responsible for inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience working on Heavy Equipment
• Preference for those with experience in the field
• Mechanics with CAT excavator experience will be given preference 
• Ability to read and understand schematics is required
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines, diagnostics, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be required
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Welding is an asset
• Personal set of tools up to 3/4' drive and 2" wrenches

Compensation:

• $35.00 to $45.00/hour to start, dependent on experience

Shifts:

• Day Shift, 6:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday 
• OT after 40 hours a week
• Lots of OT available 10+ hours per week

Mechanics will be required to have their own tools.
