Job Description

A well-established company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Road Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair Excavators, Generators, and Aerial Equipment near Hamilton, Ontario and the surrounding area.

The Ideal Heavy Equipment Mechanic Will Have:

• 4+ years of experience with heavy truck and machinery. Generators, aerial, and medium-duty equipment
• Red Seal, 421A  or 310T is preferred but not mandatory 
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel systems, Electrical, Aftertreatment issues, air brakes, and troubleshooting Hydraulic as well as Engine and Driveline systems
• Ensure equipment readiness and meets safety standards 
• Good communication skills as you will be working with customers in a professional manner 
• Make professional recommendations on equipment repair  
• Own tools, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record

Compensation:

• Up to $40.00/hour, based on previous experience/certifications/training + bonus program on top of base wage

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, Monday to Friday
• Overtime available
