Job Description

A well-established company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Field Service to join their team in Thames Center, ON. Technicians will be responsible for PMs, inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience working on Heavy Equipment
• Preference for those with experience in the field
• Ability to read and understand schematics is preferred
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines, diagnostics, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be strongly preferred.
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Welding is an asset
• Personal set of tools

Compensation:

• $35.00 - $45.00/hour to start, dependent on experience

Shifts:

• Day Shifts, 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday (Flexible shifts and schedules)
• OT after 44 hours
• Lots of OT available 10+ hours per week

Mechanics will be required to have their own tools, as well as be required to submit to pre-employment checks prior to successful employment.
