Job Description

We are currently seeking a Lead Equipment Mechanic to join a well-established company in Belle Chase LA!

If you are familiar with working on hydraulic equipment, with a strong business sense and communication skills, this may be the opportunity for you! This role will offer a strong path to growth through leadership, prioritization, proficient diagnostic and repair skills. We are in need of a self-directed mechanic with initiative and commitment. 

Job Requirements:

• Technicians with 5 years of experience working on Heavy Equipment with a focus on hydraulics.
• Diagnostic and repair abilities on excavators, loaders or haulers
• Technician who can assess, prioritize and execute the day's objectives and goals. 
• Customer service oriented technicians, who can interact positively with customers.
• Technicians with the ability to remove, build, and install hydraulic and auxiliary pieces.
• Technicians with the ability to assess, inspect, and troubleshoot faulty machinery.
• Technicians with the ability to utilize hand and power tools.
• Technicians with a valid drivers license, and an insurable driving record.

Compensation:

• $30 - $40/hr depending on experience.
• OT is readily available and paid after 40 hours.

Shifts:

• Day Shift, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday).

Any Mechanic or Technician with hydraulic and/or industrial repair experience is sought after!
