Job Description

A well-established company is looking Local or Rotational Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment or Truck Technicians for shop or field roles in Mackenzie BC.   

Job Requirements:

• Must be a certified Journeyman Truck or Heavy Equipment Technician (Preference for those with a Red Seal)
• Experience maintaining Highway Tractors and Trailers (preference for logging truck experience)
  • or
• Experience maintaining heavy Construction/Ag/Earthmoving equipment (CAT, Komatsu, CASE, John Deere, Hitachi, Volvo, etc.)
• Strong hydraulic and electrical skills
• Experience with diagnostic software (CAT ET/SIS, Cummins INSITE, JPRO, Tech Tool, etc.)
• Hands on repair experience with Diesel Engines.
• Must possess a positive attitude and ability to work with others and take direction
• Valid Drivers License

Compensation:

• $40 - $50/hr  Starting wage is dependent upon previous industry experience
• Possible Relocation assistance if needed
• $2.50 shift premium for each of:
  • Afternoon or night shift
  • ODS Certificate (Ozon Depleting Substance)
  • Valid CVIP License
  • Field Service
• Additional wage considerations taken for multiple trade certificates and factory training certifications. Cummins, CAT, Detroit Diesel etc.
• Efficiency bonus for work above 80%

Shift options available depending on relocation or rotation

• Day Shift, 7:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday
• Afternoons available
• Rotational Shift:
  • 7/10/14 day rotations
  • 12/10 hour days
  • Will negotiate shifts and days based on operational and candidate needs
