Job Description

We are actively searching for experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians to join a well-established and reputable team on the main island of Grand Cayman.

Work Permit Will Be Provided for the right Candidate

Heavy Equipment Technician will be expected to complete troubleshooting and repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems. Those Mechanics with experience working on CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, CASE, Hitachi, etc. or comparable construction equipment will be given preference. 

Job Requirements:

• 8+ recent years of heavy-duty construction equipment diagnostic, repair, and maintenance experience.
• Emissions, ECR, TCM, Electrical diagnosis with OEM Software.
• Repair part internet sourcing, prefer aftermarket parts, ordering parts.
• Diesel engine maintenance, aftertreatment maintenance, and repair experience.
• Hydraulic and electrical component maintenance, replacement, and repair experience.
• Technical School Degrees, ASE certifications, or OEM certifications will be given preference.
• Must have stable work history.

Compensation:

• $120,0000 - $183,000 USD to start (Paid in KYD, TAX FREE)

Shifts:

• Day Shift; Monday - Friday 6:30am - 5:30pm.
• Saturday 7 am to 2 PM, Sundays off.

This is a FT permanent role. The correct candidate must live on Grand Cayman Island FT. Assistance with relocation will be provided. But the candidate must be prepared for Island Life.
