Job Description

A well-established, and reputable employer is currently seeking Heavy Equipment Technician for a shop role in Olathe, KS!

Mechanics will perform maintenance and repairs to heavy-duty construction/earth moving equipment in a well-established shop, or a company-provided service truck!

Mechanics with experience servicing electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine components of heavy equipment from manufacturers including CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, Wirtgen, Hamm, Case, and other related manufacturers will be given preference!

Job Requirements:

• Heavy Equipment Mechanics with 4+ years of experience are sought after for this position.
• Technicians will perform designated repairs on customer and company owned equipment as directed.
• Maintaining and repairing heavy construction equipment including backhoes, dozers, graders, loaders, excavators, and others.
• Experience utilizing laptop computers,/diagnostic scan tools, OEM diagnostic software, analog tools/gauges, and other related instruments to properly diagnose equipment.
• Any OEM or ASE Certifications are seen as an asset, however are not required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, and an insurable record.
• Must have your own set of tools - specialty tooling is provided.

Compensation:

• Up to $52.00/hour to start! Starting wage is dependent upon previous industry experience, training, and OEM certifications.
• $40.00/hour + is reserved for experienced/journeyman level mechanics.

Shifts:

• Day Shifts Available:
• 7:30am - 4:30pm (Monday to Friday).
• Overtime available!
