A well-established agricultural equipment dealership in High River, Alberta, is hiring a Service Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and field service on farm machinery. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair tractors, combines, and other agricultural equipment.
• Perform complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Conduct on-site field service and repairs as needed to meet customer demands.
• Support customer clinics and provide technical guidance for equipment care.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to research parts and access service manuals.
• Maintain current knowledge of product lines and competing equipment.
• Ensure all vehicles, tools, and work areas are maintained in a safe and clean condition.
• Complete required documentation, repair logs, and time/material tracking.
• Follow all safety procedures during repair and maintenance tasks.
• Contribute to process improvements and overall shop efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • 2+ years of experience in agricultural, heavy-duty, or equipment repair.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools and service vehicles.
  • Basic computer proficiency for technical research and documentation.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. repeatedly and work in field environments.
  • Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred:
  • Journeyman Heavy Equipment or Agricultural Technician certification.
  • Experience working with CNH (Case New Holland) equipment.
