Job Description

A well-established and reputable employer is looking to hire experienced Heavy Truck Mechanics to join their service team near Grande Prairie, AB. 

Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to; maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brakes, air systems, and diesel engine repairs/overhauls on heavy trucks. Mechanics will be expected to complete documents related to the maintenance reports and documentation, and perform maintenance-related work as required while maintaining a clean, safe work area. 

Requirements:

• Valid Red Seal Truck & Transport License.
• 4+ years of experience working on Commercial Trucks and diesel engines.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines.
• Understanding of electrical systems and emissions/after treatment systems, engine diagnostic software (Detroit, Cummins, Volvo).
• Must enjoy a fast-paced environment and take pride in your work 
• A valid driver's license is required 
• Must possess own set of tools 
• 3rd or 4th years apprentices are welcome to apply!

Shift Schedule:

• Rotational Shift, Monday - Friday.
• 2 weeks: 7:00am - 3:30pm & 1 Week: 11:30am - 8:00pm
• Rotating Saturdays every 6 weeks. 

Compensation:

• $40.00 - $63.00/hour, based on previous experience/training/certifications.
• Additional premiums available (CVIP, Class 1/3 License, Detroit Certification, Trade Premium, etc.).
