A well-established company is seeking a Journeyman Truck & Transport Technician to join their team in Whitehorse, YT. Technicians will be responsible for inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on heavy duty trucks and equipment.

This is a farm operation and great for someone looking for flexibility and to work directly with the owners. This is perfect for someone who wants to be a mentor!

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience working on Trucks
• Ability to troubleshoot drivability issues
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in diagnostics and dealer systems would be preferred
• Ability to perform a CVIP
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Tools are suppled
• Valid D/L

Compensation:

• $40.00 - $50.00/hour to start, dependent on experience and certifications

Shifts:

• Day Shifts
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday (flexible start & end times) 
• 40 hour work weeks
• Extra Hours Available in the summer. Extra time off available in the winter.
