Duties & Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Sandvik rock drills, mobile crushing equipment, and related heavy equipment at mining sites.
- Diagnose equipment issues and complete field repairs to minimize downtime and keep machines operating reliably.
- Travel extensively to remote mining sites and rural locations throughout Alaska, including Kensington, Greens Creek, Manh Choh, and Prudhoe Bay.
- Work independently in remote locations and manage field service priorities with minimal supervision.
- Use a company-provided F-550 service truck to support field service and mobile repair work.
- Perform repairs safely in demanding outdoor environments that may include cold, wind, rain, and snow.
Requirements
- Required:

- 4+ years of relevant experience as a Field Service Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, or similar repair professional.
- Hands-on expertise servicing and repairing Sandvik rock drills and mobile crushing equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills on heavy equipment in field environments.
- Ability to work independently at remote mining sites with minimal supervision.
- Willing and able to travel extensively throughout Alaska.
- Able to work outdoors in cold, wet, windy, and demanding conditions.
- Available for a Monday-Friday schedule averaging approximately 60 hours per week.
