Duties & Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines (Freightliner, Volvo, etc.) and related systems.
- Maintain and service brake systems, oil changes, filters, and DPF components.
- Perform electrical and diesel system repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and prepare vehicles for technical inspections.
- Keep accurate records of all completed work.
Requirements:

Required:
- 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic on heavy-duty trucks and/or trailers.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members.
- Proficient with diagnostics, hand tools, and accurate service recordkeeping.
- Knowledge of brake systems, DPF service, and electrical/diesel system repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and safety-conscious work habits.
- High school diploma or GED.

Preferred:
- Completion of a diesel technology or vocational training program.
- ASE certifications or OEM-specific training (Detroit, Cummins, Volvo, Paccar).
- Valid CDL (Class B or A) and ability to obtain DOT medical certification.
- Basic computer skills for repair manuals and maintenance logs.
- Experience with hydraulics, HVAC, and air brake systems.

Shifts

Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Overtime available!

Must be willing to work half days on Saturdays every second or third week.

Compensation

Up to $55.00/hr to start, based on experience, certifications, and training.
