A reputable environmental services company in Kitchener, ON, is hiring a 310T Licensed Truck & Coach Technician to keep a heavy-truck fleet safe and road-ready. Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete repairs in line with company policy and manufacturer specifications.
• Repair and service mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Test repaired units to confirm safe, proper performance before return to service.
• Complete accurate, organized work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Communicate repair status, timelines, and concerns with shop leadership and operations.
• Support daily shop needs as part of a team-focused maintenance operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safe work practices at all times.
• Provide guidance and direction to junior maintenance personnel.
• Recommend process or procedure improvements to enhance shop efficiency and uptime.

Requirements

• Required:

  • Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license (or Red Seal equivalent).
  • Valid Ontario G driver’s license.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability across mechanical systems.
  • Basic computer literacy for work orders and documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks in a shop environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a safety-first mindset.
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment criminal background check.

• Preferred:

  • DZ license.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems.
