Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance shop operations, including scheduling, task assignments, and workflow coordination for truck and heavy equipment repairs.
• Supervise mechanics and parts staff, ensuring the team has the tools, resources, and support needed to work efficiently.
• Work with maintenance leadership to implement shop schedules, policies, and performance goals while monitoring repair quality, preventative maintenance, and timely completion.
• Coordinate parts and supply inventory to maintain stock levels and minimize downtime.
• Address day-to-day operational issues, enforce safety procedures, and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free shop environment.
• Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records, provide productivity updates, and promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Required:

• • 5+ years of experience in truck and heavy equipment maintenance, with supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel systems, hydraulics, and heavy equipment repair practices.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and general maintenance shop safety standards.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on shop environment, remain on your feet for extended periods, and lift up to 60 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
