A well-established agricultural and transportation operation is hiring an Equipment & Fleet Mechanic in Lake Geneva, WI to perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections. Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled greasing, inspections, and preventative maintenance on farm and fleet equipment
- Diagnose minor mechanical issues and communicate equipment concerns to management
- Complete general maintenance and minor repairs on tractors, skid steers, loaders, semis, and excavation equipment
- Clean and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Maintain accurate and organized maintenance records and service logs
- Work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while keeping shop and work areas clean and organized
Requirements
- Required:

- 1+ year of relevant mechanical repair or equipment maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures and routine equipment upkeep
- Ability to accurately complete maintenance logs and documentation
- Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining clean and organized work areas
- Preferred:

- 3+ years of experience in agriculture, heavy equipment, or fleet maintenance environments
- Experience performing minor mechanical repairs on mixed equipment types

Shifts

Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday

Must be willing to work half days on Saturdays as needed during peak spring and fall seasons

Consistent schedule with all hours paid at straight time
Compensation
-
$20.00 – $35.00/hr starting pay based on previous experience, certifications, and training

Company Description
Snudden Farms LLC is a family owned well diversities growing operation. We are primarily a grain/dairy farm, but we also have a trucking company, a excavating company and a fabrication shop. We run all John Deere tractors, skid loaders, loaders, etc.. Semis' are primarily Peterbilt with an exception of a couple internationals.
