A growing equipment service provider in Lakeland, FL, is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform shop and field repairs on crushers, screeners, and conveyors. Ideal candidates bring hands-on heavy equipment experience and strong diagnostic skills. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on crushing and screening equipment in both field and shop environments.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and field service calls, including emergency repairs.
• Provide technical support and repairs for customer-owned machinery both in-shop and in the field.
• Maintain service records, complete job documentation, and communicate with service managers and clients.
• Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area, including during off-site assignments.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience working on crushing/screening or similar heavy equipment.
• Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Able to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be insurable.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working outdoors in all weather.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
