Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair yard trucks in the field and on the road.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Perform on-site repairs while ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Work in the shop at an hourly rate and earn commission for road calls.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked road service truck.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, road service technician, or similar role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting engines, hydraulics, and wiring systems.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
• Self-motivated and reliable, with a commitment to keeping the service truck organized and stocked.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be comfortable working in-shop and on the road in varying weather conditions.
