Diesel Technician
Job Description
A privately owned trucking fleet in Las Vegas, NV, is hiring experienced Diesel Technicians to perform repairs and diagnostics on late-model tractors in a dedicated fleet environment. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel tractors using laptop-based diagnostic software.
- Troubleshoot and service Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and PACCAR engines.
- Perform brake repairs, electrical system diagnostics, and A/C system service.
- Ensure all fleet equipment meets safety, compliance, and performance standards.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a tractor or diesel mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and PACCAR engines preferred.
- Proficiency with diagnostic software for engine troubleshooting.
- Skilled in brake systems, electrical diagnostics, and A/C repair.
- Must provide own tools; CDL is a plus but not required.

Shifts

Day shift schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Overtime available based on workload and business needs.
Compensation

$30.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level).
