Job Description

An established and reputable employer is looking to add an experienced Lead Diesel Mechanic to their growing operation 30 mins from downtown Charlotte, NC. This opportunity will have technicians working on a large and diverse fleet of Heavy Equipment, Heavy Trucks & Trailers.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ recent years of heavy equipment diagnostic, repair, and maintenance experience
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience will be given preference.
• Must have strong Hydraulic and electrical component maintenance, replacement, and repair experience
• Chassis, track, and brake component repair and maintenance experience
• Diesel engine maintenance, aftertreatment maintenance, and repair experience
• Experience Utilizing OEM diagnostic software to troubleshoot faults
• The successful applicant will be subject to pre-employment background checks

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Day-to-day will support the company fleet. You will be part of a 5 team management group, responsible for day to day operations. You will be expected to lead and train Junior Mechanics, as well as perform repairs and diagnostics on the company fleet of trucks and equipment. In the event equipment breaks down in the field, Mechanics will be provided with a service truck for occasional field service work. This role requires a technician with a passion for the trade who is open to working on a wide variety of equipment with a great team and company culture.
