Job Description

A well-established company is seeking a Lead Diesel Technician for shop & Field Service to join their team in Delano, MN. Technicians will be responsible for inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on Engine, Fuel and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working on Class 8 Trucks
• Preference for those with experience in the field
• Mechanics with Volvo, Freightliner and DD15 experience will be given preference 
• Ability to read and understand schematics is required
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines, diagnostics, electrical, and after treatment systems will be required
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Valid Drivers License and DOT Medical Card
• Personal set of tools

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $40.00/hour to start, dependent on experience
• $2/hour Shift Differential (10am Start time)
• $1/hour Tool reimbursement (tax free, includes OT)
• Profit Sharing
• Annual Bonus Structure

• Uniforms provided

Shifts:

• Day Shifts, 10:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday 
• OT after 40 hours a week
• Lots of OT available 10+ hours per week 2+ hours per day if desired
• Paid on call rotation ($100 plus service vehicle) door to door

Mechanics will be required to have their own tools, as well as be required to submit to pre-employment checks prior to successful employment.
