Job Description

A well-established and reputable employer is urgently hiring Licensed 310T Heavy Truck Technicians to join their growing team near Ottawa, ON. Mechanics will play a crucial role in conducting inspections, services, and repairs on a variety of Heavy-Duty Trucks.

Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to; maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of suspension, brake, and air systems. Lead a team of mechanics on the shop floor. Delegate work orders, prioritize and ensure correct and timely repairs. Diagnose, troubleshoot and make repairs, complete documents related to the service reports and perform maintenance-related work as required while maintaining a clean, safe work area. 

Requirements:

• Experience as a Lead 310T Truck and Coach Technician License is required 
• Experience working on Commercial Trucks and trailers
• Experience with Commercial Vehicle Inspections
• Self-motivated and able to work independently 
• Must enjoy a fast-paced environment and take pride in your work 
• Able to demonstrate you are organized, responsible, independent, resourceful, and dynamic 
• Be a team player
• Must possess own set of tools 

Shift Schedule:

Monday to Friday schedule

• 9:00 AM - 7:00PM (Monday - Thursday)
• 9:00 AM - 5:00PM (Friday)
• Paid OT after 44 hours

Compensation:

• Licensed 310T: $50.00 – $60.00/hour, depending on previous experience/training/certificates
