Job Description

Searching a Lead Shop Mechanic near Norristown, PA responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a mixed fleet of vehicles and light/heavy equipment. Position is approximately 90% shop-based, with road calls primarily during winter storm events.

Requirements:

Must-haves:
• 3–5 years mechanic experience
• Preventative, reactive, and ad hoc repair experience
• Light electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagnostics
• Engine diagnosis experience with 2-stroke and 4-stroke equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Small hand tools

Nice-to-haves:
• State inspection license
• Commercial mower experience
• Heavy equipment repair experience
• Hydraulic hose replacement experience
• Brake service experience
• Engine repair experience
• Seasonal equipment preparation experience

Compensation & Benefits:

• $30–$40/hour
• 1.5x overtime rate
• Approximately 5 hours of overtime typically available per week

Hours:

• Day shift
