A refrigeration contractor specializing in cooling solutions for the food industry is hiring a 313A Refrigeration Mechanic / HVAC Service Technician in Leamington, ON to service, maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair refrigeration, HVAC, and related equipment to high quality standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and functional testing; document work completed.
• Maintain and renew all required licenses and certifications.
• Participate in a rotating on-call program as required.
• Maintain service vehicle readiness; act quickly on needed repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Uphold a professional image (clean uniform, clean truck, and organized work practices).
• Inspect, maintain, and safely use tools/equipment; report deficiencies to management immediately.
• Communicate clearly with team members, customers, and customer representatives (verbal and written).
• Work safely at all times and follow company policies, procedures, and standards; support other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Required:

• • Valid Ontario 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair capability across refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
  • Ability to maintain all required licenses/certifications and work to high safety and quality standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate and maintain a service vehicle.
  • Clear communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
  • Willingness to participate in rotating on-call coverage.

• Preferred:

• • TSSA Gas Technician/Gas Fitter license (or currently in progress).
  • Experience supporting food-industry refrigeration and cooling systems.
