Job Description
A well-established and reputable employer is urgently hiring Licensed 310T Heavy Truck Technicians to join their growing team near Kirkland, ON. Mechanics will play a crucial role in conducting inspections, services, and repairs on a variety of Heavy-Duty Trucks and Trailers.
Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to; maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of suspension, brake, and air systems on Tractors and Trailers. Mechanics will review and assist with repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports, complete documents related to the maintenance reports and documentation, and perform maintenance-related work as required while maintaining a clean, safe work area.
Requirements:
- Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician License is required
- Experience working on Commercial Trucks
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must enjoy a fast-paced environment and take pride in your work
- Able to demonstrate you are organized, responsible, independent, resourceful, and dynamic
- A valid driver's license is required
- Knowledge of provincial Inspections
- Reefer Experience is preferred
- Must possess own set of tools and be able to pass a vulnerable sector background check
Shift Schedule:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
- Overtime available, paid after 44 hours per week
Compensation:
- Up to $46.00/hour, depending on previous experience/training/certificates
- Comprehensive benefits, paid 90 percent by the employer are offered including Medical, Dental, Vision, available on start date
- Company pension starts after 6 months
