A well-established construction company in Loudon, NH, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment/Truck Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of machinery and vehicles. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on trucks and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, oil changes, and fluid checks.
• Recondition or replace engines, bearings, pistons, valves, and major components.
• Inspect equipment and materials to determine defects or failures.
• Operate test drives and equipment checks to ensure proper function.
• Install new or rebuilt equipment and parts to meet specifications.
• Raise vehicles and parts using hydraulic hoists or jacks as needed.
• Conduct minor welding, brazing, and fabrication for repairs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records.
• Perform tire changes, repairs, and general maintenance tasks.
• Assist with various shop duties and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience repairing heavy trucks or construction equipment.
• Proficient in diagnosing engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to safely operate tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment.
• Must be able to work independently and follow service schedules.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.
