Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
• Maintain service records using digital tools and document repairs efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and brake systems.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all repairs meet DOT and company standards.
• Operate within safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized shop environment.
• Rotate weekly between day and night shifts, including after-hours availability as scheduled.
• Complete special projects or tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Required:

  • 3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy diesel trucks or construction equipment.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, mechanical troubleshooting, and diesel engine repair.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to work rotating night shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Strong safety awareness and decision-making skills.

• Preferred:

  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Experience using fleet maintenance software or digital work order systems.
  • Familiarity with cost-effective service strategies in high-usage fleet environments.
  • Knowledge of modern repair techniques for hydraulics, emissions systems, and onboard diagnostics.
