Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform mobile diagnostics, troubleshooting, general and DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on fleet and customer equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, air, diesel, and related mechanical systems.
- Complete welding and fabrication repairs as needed to keep equipment safe and service-ready.
- Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle while managing provided inventory and specialty tools.
- Complete service calls efficiently while following safety procedures, industry standards, and company protocols.
- Document service work, parts used, time spent, inspection results, and daily paperwork accurately.
Requirements
- Required:

- Hands-on mobile service or diesel shop repair experience with skills that transfer to field service work.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across diesel, hydraulic, electrical, air, mechanical, heavy truck, or heavy equipment systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage service calls, communicate professionally, and complete daily paperwork.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Able to travel as needed, work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 75 lbs, and perform physical repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; must complete pre-employment criminal background check, drug screening, and fitness for duty physical.
- Preferred:

- 2+ years of DOT inspection experience.
- 2+ years of hydraulic, diesel, heavy equipment, or heavy truck mechanic experience.
- Technical certification, CDL, ASE, NATEF, Welding Certification, Fluid Power Society Certification, or TWIC Card.

Shifts
- Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekends as needed with overtime opportunities
- 24/7 on-call availability for additional earning potential
Compensation
- $35.00 – $38.00/hour based on experience and certifications
- Overtime available and paid after 40 hours/week
- Company vehicle and specialty tools provided
