Job Description

A reputable and well-established employer is looking to add Marine Technicians to their team near South Portland, ME! 

This is a great opportunity for any mechanics who are passionate about working on marine vessels, OR for any mechanics that would like to grow, and develop skills within the marine diesel industry! 

We're searching for Marine Technicians with the following experience:

• 2+ years of recent experience repairing gasoline or diesel engines & transmission systems. 
• Maintaining and repairing inboard/outboard marine engines.
• Repairing marine diesel engines from manufacturers including, Honda, Yamaha, Mercury, Yanmar, Cummins, CAT, Volvo, and others.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting gasoline & diesel engines, and determine root causes of faults.
• Identifying worn/faulty components on either commercial or pleasure crafts.
• Maintaining and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Maintaining and repairing fuel systems.

Compensation:

• $35.00 - $52.00/hour to start, based on previous experience/certifications/training.
• On-going, Paid Training!

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, 7:30AM – 4:30PM, Monday – Friday. 
• OT when needed, paid after 40 hours.
