Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair diesel trucks, trailers, heavy-duty equipment, and light vehicles in a shop environment
• Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire service, and routine inspections
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, powertrain, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals
• Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety, reliability, and performance concerns
• Test completed repairs and accurately document maintenance and service work
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements

• Required:

• • Proven hands-on experience as a mechanic or service technician
  • Strong working knowledge of powertrain systems and general vehicle repair
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools
  • Ability to read schematics, service information, and technical manuals
  • Proficiency with common hand tools and shop equipment
  • Must complete a pre-employment background check
