Job Description

Mining Equipment Mechanics are needed to join a growing team in Central Colorado. In this role, you'll work as a shop technician on a diverse range of underground mining equipment. 

This is not a mine site role.

Relocation assistance and housing assistance is available for the right candidates

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair underground and surface mining equipment, focusing on electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and understand schematics.
• Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical issues when schematics are not available.
• Ability to utilize OEM diagnostic software to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain clear communication with service managers to prioritize and execute tasks.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of journeyman-level technician experience.
• Expertise in mining equipment diagnostics and repairs, including proficiency in electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Strong physical fitness, ability to pass background checks, drug screening
• Valid driver’s license 
• Must have own tools

Compensation and Benefits:

• Wage: $45 - $60 per hour
• Overtime: is available after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday to Friday - Day Shift
• Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision - 80% paid by employer for individual. 50% for family (Available after 90 days)
• PTO: 12 days PTO prorated from start date (Available after 90 days)
• Annual Boot Allowance
• Bunk housing is available if needing to relocate. (Available for the first 3 months.)
