Job Description
We are seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join a dynamic team in Pomona, California. This role is designed for a highly skilled technician who thrives in a mobile environment, providing on-site vehicle repairs and maintenance. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform comprehensive vehicle repairs, including adjustments and tests on systems like steering, electrical, cooling, and braking, in line with all relevant guidelines and requirements.
- Ensure all major repairs are inspected and approved before the vehicle's release from the maintenance facility.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace, adhering to all regulatory standards.
- Identify and report any additional maintenance or repairs discovered during assigned tasks.
- Keep accurate records of time spent, parts used, and the nature of repairs and maintenance conducted.
- Communicate with the Maintenance Manager regarding any unsafe conditions or practices, as well as any signs of vehicle abuse.
- Handle road calls and perform on-the-road repairs as needed.
- Be prepared to take on other duties as assigned to support the team and operations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Med/Hvy truck fleet mechanic repair, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and AC repair skills are essential.
- In-depth technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is required.
- Experience in fleet operations with familiarity with both diesel and gasoline systems is highly valued.
- Must possess the recommended minimum hand tools for a Diesel Technician role.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills are crucial.
- Valid state driver’s license required; CDL preferred. (Training available for those who need to obtain a CDL after hire.)
- ASE Certification preferred but not required. Company-supported training available.
- Must have a valid passport and be able to travel 100% of the time.

Compensation
- $41.50 to $44.50/hr based on experience.
