Job Description

A well-established company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to join their team in the area south of Kernersville, NC. Technicians will be responsible for inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on hydraulic and electrical systems. This is a mobile role that does require overnight and out of state travel.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working on Heavy Equipment
• Preference for those with experience in the field
• Mechanics with diagnostic experience will be given preference 
• Ability to read and understand schematics is required
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines, diagnostics, after treatments, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be required
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Welding is an asset

Compensation:

• $35.00 - $45.00/hour

Shifts:

• Day Shifts, 7:00am - 5:00pm, Wednesday - Sunday 
• OT after 40
• Lots of OT available 10+ hours per week
• Must be able to accommodate frequent overnight and out of state travel. Accommodations covered by company.

Mechanics will be required to have their own tools, as well as be required to submit to pre-employment checks prior to successful employment.
