Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel trucks, tractors, trailers, and related fleet equipment.
• Perform minor and major truck and trailer repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety checks.
• Diagnose and service diesel engines, exhaust aftertreatment systems, and related truck systems.
• Use engine diagnostic software and troubleshooting procedures to identify issues and confirm repairs.
• Perform roadside service calls as needed and support daily fleet maintenance priorities.
• Maintain accurate repair records, keep the work area clean and organized, and follow safe shop practices.

Requirements

• Required:

• • Hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic or diesel technician working on trucks, trailers, or similar fleet equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, exhaust aftertreatment systems, and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently in a fast-paced fleet environment.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must provide basic personal hand tools; larger and specialty tools are provided.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening, including a drug test and background check.
